The people interested in this project are certainly going to be people who were playing computer games back in the 80's. So I'm curious, of the games you remember from back then, which ones were your favorite? What do you think back fondly on? What did you like so much that you've brought it back to life with an emulator?
All of my favorites were on an Apple ][+ and Apple //e during the early 80's. I had an Apple Macintosh 512k in the late 80's which also had a few fun classics on it.
In the early 80's, my favorites on the Apple // were:
Sundog (duh) Ultima IV Ultima V Below The Root Robot Odyssey Rescue Raiders Planetfall Karateka In Search of the Most Amazing Thing The Halley Project Dark Lord
In the late 80's and early 90's my favorites on the Macintosh were:
Dark Castle Spaceward Ho! Dungeon of Doom / The Dungeon Revealed Escape Velocity 1 Escape Velocity 2 Escape Velocity 3
I'm sure that there were some others from both eras, but those are the ones that come to mind most readily.

Yeah, Carrier Command was quite cool! Do you have it for STEEM? I´m not able to run it properly with my Amiga-Emulator

I´m not able to run it properly with my Amiga-Emulator I did try the new remake of the game that was released back in 2012, however I did not have a lot of time to play it. It was more of a first person shooter than the original at the beginning of the game. Was still cool to see it come to life after all those years though. Might have to give it another go! Because I went from an Apple // to a Macintosh to a PC, I never had an Atari to play with. Do you think any of those Atari games are worth me taking time to check out via emulation?

Nice lists! I had a rather limited collection of ST games (most of my time was spent on my Atari 800 box which was old-school even when I was playing it as a kid), but if my memory serves me correctly, my favorite games were:
Sundog (no surprise there) Midway Battles Starglider Chessmaster 2000 Degas Elite (Not really a game as it is a drawing program, but I spent countless hours drawing in Degas and "exporting" the images by taking a 35mm photo of the screen.) Silent Service Pirates of the Barbary Coast Falcon Prince of Persia

As far as obtaining some of these games and playing the roms on an emulator, Atari Mania looks like a very good resource.

If you like exploring, I would recommand Mercenary, Damocles and Mercenary III that were released for Atari ST and Amiga. They were in 3D, but in a way, they have similarities with Sundog in the idea: explore a planet or a solar system to solve a problem.

I haven't ever played those games. I'll take a look at them though, now that I've got a working Atari ST emulator. There was a bunch of neat Atari stuff that I missed out on as a kid because I grew up using the Apple // line of computers.

I've still got my original Master of Orion program directory archived from one hard drive to the next over the years. These days I run it under DosBox.

In case it's of interest, there's a new Master of Orion coming out. It's currently in early access and in a playable state, and can be purchased at GoG or on Steam. (It's not being called Master of Orion 4, it's named "Master of Orion", or maybe "Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars", its' hard to tell.) It can be had here on GoG: www.gog.com/game/master_of_orion

I saw the steam promo blurb about the new Master of Orion, but a $50 price tag for pre-release just doesn't fit into my plans. Besides I'm keeping my schedule clear for the Sundog beta.
