I just found this file in archival folders for the project, and I added a final frame to represent the current title screen of the game. This crude GIF animation shows the evolution of the title screen from the original Atari ST game screen to the current one. You can see my methods as I create graphical objects for the ship's features and overlay them on the original game's graphics to ensure an accurate representation of the original artwork (a sort of digital rotoscoping, in a way). You can also watch as I correct alignment issues, and then touch it up and tweak it over time. This is as close to a "behind the scenes" video we have of the project! lol. Reminder: this is a crude, crappy GIF and the image size has been reduced from it's full resolution to comply with this board's 1mb attachment limit. Enjoy! CLICK THE THUMBNAIL TO VIEW THE IMAGE_  |

The funny thing is that I'm so used to the Apple version that even the old Atari ST version looks highly advanced to me. *grin*

McBern: yeah I can get some more screenshots. No prob. It might be a day or two as my work schedule is tight starting monday. There are also some on the sundog project website that show various game settings.

Kalief thanks for the link. Of course I already read that post, but it was too long ago so ist wasn't listed in my brain storage anymore.
