One thing I could never determine was whether or not more concentrators added additional firepower. Does anyone have an answer or opinion on this? I'm leaning towards no...there's no difference between 1, 2, 3, or 4 concentrators in the gun rack.

hey I just noticed this thread. So, in the Resurrection version, you CAN stack concentrators. Each one increases the laser's firepower by a certain percentage. Also... I'll just let this one secret tid-bit out, so keep this under your hats... There's a black market upgrade item called a Positronium Lens. Like the concentrator, it can stack its effect as you add more to the engineering bay. But whereas the concentrator increases the power of the laser, the Positronium Lens allows the laser to beat down the pirate's force shields quicker. I won't go into specifics more than that, but using both items really helps out in a dogfight. You can thank me later.
