I first played this game in College, I am 50 years old now. A friend that I played another game with introduced it to me. I loved it, even more than he did I think. I did not have a system, so I could only play it when he allowed. One night about midnight he went to bed, leaving me on his machine. I did not leave until after 2am. Once I graduated I no longer had access to Sundog and forgot about it.
I had not thought of this game in many years. I forget what I was searching for but a listing for Sundog came up and I instaltly recognized it. When I saw the screen shot of the Sundog I was filled with amazement.
When I noticed that the game was in Beta test I decided I had to try it. I am looking forward to helping make this as complete and fun of a rebuild as possible.
I am a programmer myself, although I have never done any game programming. Something with this much detail and scope is impressive and difficult.
I congratulate everyone who has and is working on this project.
I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. The team has worked very hard to not stray from the original design, so you'll find a game that very closely resembles what you remember, save with a bit better graphics and the ability to run natively on PC and Mac without an emulator. :-)

canyonman: Hello, fellow Sundog geeks. It's been a LONG time since I played the game, but I have never forgotten it. Most of the 100's of games I've played since are long forgotten.

mdp: The Tube Terminal should allow you to port you and your pod to another city on the planet. I think that was the intent of the green lights located on the edges of the terminals. This allows you to move pod between cities without driving the planet. For CRs
