Since there is "STeeM Engine" and "STeeM SSE" i am going to try both. The STeeM Engine is probably the wrong one because its for XP updated in 2003...
Heh heh heh... Maybe. I have both, but when it's not broken, don't fix it. They are pretty similar. I have both installed, and except for some special games ( like "Carrier Command" or "Dungeon Master" who are better with the Hard-Drive versions or ".Tos" files ) I still use the old STeeM one. At any rate, you are on the good track now ! Somehow after a few weeks, I still don't get how to get Pasti installed onto StEEM, but I have given up. I will just play on the apple that is much easier. Its okay, no hard feeling.

The Apple version is kind of the superior one gameplay-wise anyways. You make more money running cloakers from Lafser --> Glory (I think you sell them for 25k instead of 10k on the AtariST), and you have access to the AutoSlews. It's like that Ultima3 remaster by LairWare for the MAC... The best remaster ever, with no PC port and no plan of making one. Sometimes MAC users win.

Yeah, the graphics are better on the ST version, but the Apple II version is definitely the purest gameplay. I love the Apple II version.

Nice to hear the love for the OG Apple version. I usually see it dismissed for the ST version. (I loved both of those computers dearly, though.)

Sundog was easily one of the best games ever made for the Apple II computer. As a big Apple II fan myself, it's really hard not to love it, even if the graphics aren't as good at the Atari ST version.
